Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) in USS Japan!

Universal Studios Japan have just announced the inclusion of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) as a new attraction to the world famous Movie Theme park.

Named "Shingeki no Kyojin - THE REAL" ; the Shingeki no Kyojin instalment will be limited to the time period of 23rd Jan 2015 - 10th May 2015.

From my limited Japanese comprehension, I understand there will be live size replicates of the titans. They shall notably be the 15 meter Kyojin Eren and 14 meter Kyojin Annie . It is unknown if these life size statues will have any dynamic movements or performance.

There will also be figurine displays of characters such as Levi, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin.

The figurines shall be like no other before and rivals those in Madame Tussaud's. Ultilising the newest technique in sculpting (?) , details down to each strand of hair, eyelashes and skin texture will be dutifully replicated ! Not sure if more characters will be figur-fied or not but I sure hope to see more of the other characters such as Annie and Eren and Connie!

Iconic scenes from the series; such as the scene of protagonist Eren Jeager's Mother being eaten alive, will be part of the exhibits for visitors to experience. Probably a good photo opportunity too.

Other activities for the visitors to partake in includes assuming the role of a Recon Corps soldier and going on a mission to capture the 14 meter female titan to uncover the secrets she holds. It will be an experience of horror, despair and courage!

I hope this will features some exciting physical challenges like jumping over obstacles and stuffs along with maybe some quizzes to solve. However I hope the quizzes won't be overly linguistic; because that won't be very tourist friendly X_X;

What's left after some strenuous Titan hunting would be a good meal and a chance to purchase your badge of honour!

The phenomenally popular Manga turned Anime and soon to come Live Action series is really getting more and more attention! Now I have double reasons to arrange a trip to Japan next year to view the Cherry Blossoms and visit the Universal Studios Japan!
